Education & Exposure Visit

with our partners,
the Christian Council of Mozambique

A group of 10 people from London Conference area visited the Christian Council of Mozambique (CCM) in August 2008.

The visit was in response to an invitation from the Christian Council of Mozambique.

Some of the goals were:

	To increase our personal awareness of the realities of life in Mozambique
	To enable participants to listen to the people of Mozambique as they share their struggles and hopes
	To learn about the partnership between the United Church and the Christian Council of Mozambique and to learn what we have in common with each other.
	To share the experience with people of London Conference
	To explore opportunities for a continuing relationship between members of CCM and London Conference as we growth in faith and deepen our understanding of north-south relations.

As part of this visit, London Conference Division of World Outreach is supporting a garden project in partnership with the Christian Council of Mozambique.
